An analytical layer on top of the ERP system
Integration of accounting, sales and procurement into a unique BI model for managerial decision-making.
System overview
In most companies, financial data exists, but it is scattered across multiple systems:
accounting, sales, procurement, warehouse and various Excel files.
The goal of this project was to build a central analytics layer that connects all key data sources and transforms them into a single model for reporting and analysis.
The system allows management to see:
real income and expenses,
margin structure,
cash flows,
and key financial indicators in real time.
Why is it important?
Without a single analytics layer:
data is manually copied,
reports are late,
different sectors have different figures,
and decisions are made without full context.
This system introduces:
one version of the truth,
reliable financial statements,
and transparency throughout the entire business.
Our approach
How we approached the problem
The project was started by mapping all data sources:
- accounting system,
- sales and invoicing,
- procurement and suppliers,
- warehouses and supplies.
Based on that, the central data model was designed.
